Together for the HMR Fund: Together we make the difference!
17 March 2021
The second wave of COVID-19 further demonstrates the dilapidated state of the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR) installations and the vulnerability of our patients. It also brings to light how much your support is important and makes a difference. This is why Dr. François Marquis is appealing to your solidarity.
Your support is more vital than ever!
HMR’s teams are there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, rarely seeing their family and loved ones, sacrificing their spare time and holidays, to care for COVID patients as well as for the most vulnerable people in our community.
Thanks to your generosity and your solidarity, we were able to acquire equipment and replace machines used-up by the pandemic, that are essential to the screening, quality of life and survival of our patients. But the pandemic does not take a break and the need is great.
You, me, all of us, need to keep on working together to help those around us and save lives. We are in a marathon. Behind the COVID statistics, there are people, families, who are experiencing tragedies and counting upon us to make the difference, together.
That is why I am inviting you to contribute to the Together for the HMR Fund right now.
You will give us the means of acquiring additional ultrasound machines, notably for the Emergency Room, as well as electrocardiograms. You will allow us to carry out research to help HMR patients, especially those weakened by their stay in Intensive Care, regain a true quality of life. And much more.
Thank you so much for being there with us! You are source of healing!
About the Together for the HMR campaign

The Together for the HMR Fund’s objective
This fund supports:
- The acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and technology,
- The training of health care personnel;

The initiatives supported by the campaign are not funded by the government. However, their achievement is essential to the well-being and health of our entire community, now and for years to come. Hence the vital importance of supporting this campaign right now!
