About the HMR Foundation

On the eve of a major campaign to support the expansion and modernization project of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, the HMR Foundation is taking on a new look. Assuming its place at the hospital, within the community of East Montreal, in the future of medicine, through the poles of international excellence, takes courage. Together, let's move forward.

As part of its 45th anniversary, the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Foundation launched a new tradition: the 'Mille Mercis' (Thousand Thanks) Day, a true telephone marathon of appreciation.

The third-party event organized by Francine Ducas and Maryse Bouchard was established to raise awareness about multiple myeloma. In 10 years, they have raised nearly $725,000 and brought together several hundred cyclists.

Over 20 years, the HMR Foundation's signature event has raised over $20 million for the hospital. The year 2021 also marks the 10th edition of the sparkling cocktail event 'À Votre Santé' the opening night of Montréal Passion Vin.

To support the HMR and its teams in facing the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to be prepared to tackle future challenges, the HMR Foundation is launching this interim campaign.
