How do I register for the virtual race?
Step 1: Choose your distance(s)
You have already participated in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge (or any RaceRoster event) in the past? You can use the same email address and password.
If this is your first time, you must create an account.
Important: Keep in mind the email address and password used. They will be needed to access your fundraising page.
Step 2: Fill out the registration form
- Sub-event Section: Validate the selected distance.
- Personal information Section: Enter your contact details.
- Questions Section: Answer the various compulsory questions.

To join the HMR Foundation team
- Check “I’d like to join an official Scotiabank Charity Challenge team / J’aimerais rejoindre une équipe officielle du Défi Caritatif de la Banque Scotia”
- Choose the “Fondation de l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont” team
To create your team for the benefit of the HMR
- Check “I’d like to create a new fundraising team / Je souhaite créer une nouvelle équipe de collecte de fonds”
- Team name: Enter the name of your team
- “Do you want to set preferred fundraising organization(s) for this team?” choose “Fondation de l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont”
- Products & merchandise Section: Select the size of your sweater.
- How to receive your Race Kit Section: Make your choice.
- Enter promo code or gift code Section: In 2020, some participants requested to postpone their registration until 2021. If this is your case, you have received a promotional code. You must enter it here.
Step 3: Accept the different discharges

Step 5: Purchase gift registrations, if desired
Step 6: Donate
You can make a gift to the HMR Foundation when registering.
Choose the desired amount and how to apply this donation (donation on your behalf or on behalf of your team).
Important: A tax receipt will be issued automatically for all donations of $15 and more.
Step 7: Proceed to checkout
Your registration is complete. You will receive a confirmation email from the Scotiabank Charity Challenge.
- Go to the Scotiabank Charity Challenge page and press Sign in.
- Enter the email and password used during your registration.
The HMR Foundation will receive a donation of $5 from the Scotiabank Charity Challenge’s organizers for each registration made by way of this link.
