To leave a legacy to a philanthropic cause.

What is a testamentary bequest?
A testamentary bequest or donation is a way to leave a part of yourself to a philanthropic cause that is dear to you. To do this, you can designate the organization as a full or partial beneficiary of your assets in your will.
To whom does this apply?
The testamentary donation is accessible to everyone and is revocable at any time. It takes effect at the time of the donor's death.
How to go about it?
It is important to discuss your wish to make a donation to the HMR Foundation as part of your estate planning and to discuss this with your notary to determine the appropriate form of bequest and ensure that the wording corresponds to your donation wish.
What are the advantages of a testamentary donation?
Your heirs benefit from a tax deduction through a tax credit for the donation, reducing the estate's tax bill.

You are in control of your bequest to the HMR Foundation. This form of donation can be modified at any time before your death. You contribute to the excellence of all care and services offered by the Hospital.
