Next Generation Committee running hard for the Together for the HMR Fund: Run with them

The Next Generation Committee of the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR) Foundation is taking up a double challenge: To run and raise funds for the Together for the HMR Fund! Encourage them.
Their goal: To run or walk, and raise $10,000 for the HMR and its patients as part of the Scotiabank Charity Challenge Virtual Run.

Sophie Beaudoin Lemay
Communications and Outreach Coordinator for the architectural firm Lemay, Sophie loves to walk and explore new places for hours at a time. She will take the opportunity to raise funds for a cause close to her heart: Your health and well-being.
Her challenge: Walk 5K

Nicolas Bonhomme
Litigation lawyer at Bernard & Brassard, Nicolas is involved with the Foundation to be a party to its positive impact on the community and medical research.
His Challenge: Run a half-marathon in less than 110 minutes

Marc-André Dubois
Marc-André is marketing, branding and digital manager at Loblaws. For 25 years, his family has been involved with the HMR Foundation with Les Amis de Jean-François, so it was natural for him to join the succession committee.

Jade Lavallée-Labossière
Jade is Account Director at H+K Strategies and she is involved in the Foundation in support of HMR patients.

For Madeleine, Assistant Designer at Atelier Boutique Isabelle Elie, running is a way of disconnecting from the fuss of daily life. For the cause, she will combine pleasure and philanthropy.

The Together for the HMR Fund
This fund was launched by the HMR Foundation to meet the pressing needs of the Hospital and its patients. The Together for the HMR Fund will provide the HMR with the resources needed to maintain excellence in care, research and teaching, which are at the heart of the Hospital’s ability to deal with a pandemic such as COVID-19, today and in the years to come.
The Together for the HMR Fund will support:
- The acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and technology;
- The training of health care personnel;
- Increased screening capacity.
